Membership Information
FARA offers two types of memberships:
Public Safety Membership is available only to government agencies and entitles an agency to join FARA (as opposed to an individual), and have up to five persons become members under the agency's membership. In a Public Safety membership, one person is designated as the contact person, and only that person will receive FARA mailings and other written materials. Only the main contact is eligible to vote on issues before the FARA. Public Safety member dues are $150 per year and FARA's Board of Directors reviews all applications for approval.
Associate Membership is open to any individual interested in advancing the goals of the association. Associate members may not vote on issues before FARA. Associate members are, however, encouraged to participate on any FARA Committee. Associate member dues are $300 per year and FARA's Board of Directors reviews all applications for approval.
