Description
The Alarm User Awareness School is an outreach program designed to teach alarm users how to responsibly use their alarm system, how to prevent false alarms, officer safety issues and the scope and costs associated with false alarms.
As many false alarm studies have reported, alarm users cause the vast majority of false alarms. This program seeks to educate the user so they can avoid false alarms.
Users receive a certificate on completion of the course, Some agencies will waive a fine or restore a site from suspension of response if a certificate is submitted to them.
